FAQ's

General Questions

  • What is the difference between valeting and detailing?

Valeting is a basic service that involves washing, drying, and vacuuming your vehicle. Detailing is a more advanced service that involves correcting, enhancing, and protecting your vehicle’s appearance. Detailing can sometimes take many days to achieve, depending on the condition and requirements of your vehicle. We specialise in detailing and do not offer valeting services.

  • How do I book an appointment with you?

You can book an appointment with us by filling out the [online form] on our website, or by calling us at 07891 126274. Please note that we are usually booked up for 6 weeks all year round, and up to 12 weeks during peak season. We recommend booking as early as possible to secure your preferred date and time.

  • What do I need to do before bringing my vehicle to you?

You don’t need to do anything special to prepare your vehicle for detailing. Just make sure to remove any valuables, car seats, and personal belongings from the interior and the boot. You don’t need to wash your vehicle before bringing it to us, as we will do a thorough pre-wash and decontamination as part of our process.

Services and Products

  • Can you work on my vehicle at my location?

We can work on your vehicle at your location in most cases, as long as there is access to water and electricity. However, some of our services and products require a controlled indoor environment, such as ceramic coatings, which need to cure properly without exposure to dust, moisture, or sunlight. Therefore, for some packages, it is essential to bring your vehicle to our studio, where we have a state-of-the-art facility and equipment.

  • What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, bank transfer, PayPal, and credit card payments.

  • What if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?

We understand that sometimes things happen and plans change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible, and at least 48 hours in advance. This will allow us to offer your slot to another customer, and avoid any cancellation fees. If you cancel or reschedule within 48 hours of your appointment, we reserve the right to charge you 25% of the total service fee.

New Car Detail

  • Why does a new car need detailing?

You might think that a new car is flawless and doesn’t need any extra care, but that is not always the case. New cars are often stored and transported in harsh conditions, such as open fields, docks, or trailers, where they are exposed to dirt, dust, bird droppings, and other contaminants. These can damage the paintwork and cause swirl marks, scratches, etching, or oxidation. Moreover, new cars are often delivered with a protective film or wax that needs to be removed before applying any sealant or coating. Therefore, a new car detail is essential to ensure that your vehicle is in the best possible condition and protected from the start

  • When should I book a new car detail?

The sooner, the better. Ideally, you should book a new car detail before you collect your vehicle from the dealership, so that we can work on it as soon as it arrives. This will prevent any further damage or contamination from occurring during the delivery or collection process. Alternatively, you can book a new car detail as soon as you collect your vehicle, but make sure to avoid washing it before bringing it to us. We recommend booking at least 4 weeks in advance to secure your preferred date and time.

  • Where do you perform a new car detail?

We can perform a new car detail at either the dealership or our studio, depending on your preference and availability. If you choose the dealership option, we will liaise with the salesperson and arrange to work on your vehicle before you collect it. We will need access to water and electricity, and a suitable space to work on your vehicle. If you choose the studio option, you will need to bring your vehicle to us as soon as you collect it, and leave it with us for the duration of the service.
